Campground was full of serious hikers and campers. Super great place with respectful campers and great staff. Great price and sites!
A great campground for soloists or families alike. Shower facilities - bring quarters if you want hot water! Check out Glen Ellis Falls for a brief hike to a waterfall. Close to many trailheads for hikers, we did Jefferson the next day. Great sites in a field or in the woods. Call for reservations on the weekend - we got one of the last sites on a Saturday. Will be back.
Our favorite camping site! The rangers are all very nice. One night they had a storytelling hour at site 25. They put up a canopy, lit a fire and campers of all ages came around the circle to listen. So great!! Very clean facilities and great care taken to keep bears at bay.
We dry Camp here in a 36-foot motorhome. We pulled into site p7 and it was perfect. Did not see other sites that could accommodate big rig though Good hiking trail nice Swimming Hole. stayed here for two nights and loved it.
Great camping ground, very rustic yet comfortable for family camping. Great walking trails and swimming hole. The camping bathrooms are clean. You can even buy day passes for a picnic and swim! Close to Mt. Washington and beautiful area all around!
